Hampton Court Palace was the home of King Henry VIII and the Tudor dynasty. The Palace is set in 60 acres of formal gardens and includes the famous Maze and Great Vine. See the enormous Tudor kitchens built to feed the entire court. Up to 800 courtiers could accompany Henry VIII and they all needed to be fed!


The price includes entrance, a 1 1/2 hour guided tour of the Palace, and a voucher for a light lunch ( e.g. seasonal soup of the day or a sandwich, with a choice of non-alcoholic drink and a cake or dessert). There is no meal voucher included for the under 5s.

The rest of your time will be free to wander around at your own pace.

Kew Gardens are London's largest UNESCO World Heritage site offering unique landscapes and iconic architecture from every stage of the Gardens' history. The collection of living plants is the largest and most diverse in the world, growing out in the Gardens and inside Kew’s glasshouses. In addition the Pagoda and the Temporate House have now re-opened after extensive renovations.

This event will include the entrance price and a guided tour with one of Kew’s expert tour guides at 2:30. The tour will take in the history of the gardens and visit the places & plants of special interest in June. A cream tea will be served at 4:30 at the Botanical overlooking the pond and the Palm house. Afterwards there will still be time to wander round Kew gardens at your leisure, if you so wish.

To request a place(s) for this event please complete the “Reservation Request” form below. Once your request has been submitted and when we know for sure that the event will be going ahead we will send you a confirmation email with details of how to make payment for the event.

* The IBM Club Member prices are available to the IBM Club Member AND their spouse/partner OR one other accompanied adult guest PLUS members’ children under the age of 18 accompanied by the IBM Club Member.
If additional places are available then up to two non-members can attend at the publicised Non-Club member or Group Rate price

2) Club Members are IBMers, Spouses/Partners or a nominated Guest (in lieu of Spouse/Partner) and Children under 18.

3) Participant places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

4) Neither IBM or the IBM Club are responsible for tickets that are lost through the mail.

5) A request for tickets represents an agreement on your part to purchase tickets if available. The Club cannot accept any responsibility for changes to your own requirements and all tickets ordered for must be paid for, whether collected or not.

Once all requests have been received the organiser for this event will send you a confirmation email at which time you are asked to make payment for your places within 5 working days, either by bank transfer or cheque, as per the details in the confirmation email. If payment is not received within 5 working days we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and offer the places to other interested parties.
